  • ACOG Legislative Priorities
     At the beginning of each year ACOG's Government Relations Committee decides on ACOG's top legislative priorities. The Government Relations department updates this site with the latest information regarding these issues.
  • Adolescent Health Care
     Development of adequate and comprehensive services for adolescents, especially in regard to reproductive health services.
  • ARCOG
     The mission of ARCOG is to facilitate and promote professionalism, affirm dedication to the educational process for women's health, and to foster the development of standards for residency coordinators in conjunction with CREOG.

     Keeping abreast with changes in government coding regulations, and recommendations to improve coding efficiency.

     A diverse, comprehensive selection of educational opportunities to enhance the professional development of Fellows, Junior Fellows and other health care providers.

  • CREOG
     Educational support of ob-gyn residents and resident educators.
  • District/Section Activities
     This Department serves as the liaison to Fellow and Junior Fellow Officers, coordinates Fellow and Junior Fellow elections, and assists District and Section Officers of the College. Staff coordinates all programs and projects for the Junior Fellows.

     Find out more about the latest legislative news, ACOG's Congressional Leadership Conference, and testimony submitted on behalf of ACOG.
  • Grievance
     Information on how to file a complaint with the ACOG Grievance Committee, including forms, procedures, the Code of Ethics. Also, lists of all final disciplinary actions taken by the College.
  • Health Care for Underserved Women
     Identifying and addressing barriers to care, and monitoring access to specific women's health care services.
  • Health Information Technology
     Information about health information technology, including Electronic Health Records and billing systems.
  • HIPAA
     HIPPA regulations and requirements explained.
  • History Library/Archives
     Provides reference assistance in topics related to the history of ob/gyn and information on the ACOG Fellowship in the History of Obstetrics and Gynecology; coordinates the activities of the History Special Interest Group.

     Programs designed to improve the care provided to American Indian and Alaska Native women and their offspring.

  • Membership Services
     Provides category information and requirements for all levels of membership. Membership Services is responsible for the recruitment of new members, processing of applications, collection of National, District, Section dues, address changes, replacement issues of the Green Journal, and membership statistical information.

     Provides information about implementing the fetal and infant mortality review method. NFIMR is a colloaborative effort between the federal Maternal Child Health Bureau and ACOG.

     The Research Department is responsible for conducting diverse surveys to discern the practice knowledge and educational needs of the Fellows.

     Research projects sponsored by industry and ACOG for Fellows and Junior Fellows.

     The ACOG library provides information on ACOG publications including contents, samples, order forms; physician referral; ob/gyn statistics; and MEDLINE searches for members.
  • Smoking Cessation
     Literature and implementation tools for obstetricians to establish smoking cessation as part of prenatal care.
  • State Legislative Activities
     Learn more about Ob-Gyn issues on the state level and what ACOG is doing about them.
  • Violence Against Women
     ACOG has developed tools to screen patients for intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
  • Women with Disabilities
     A resource to increase awareness ob-gyns to the needs of women with disabilities in their access of health services.
  • Young Physicians
     A young Fellow is a Fellow who is 40 years old or younger who is within the first 8 years of Fellowship.
